Terms of Use

These terms apply to NO QUARTZ at noquartz.app, run by NO QUARTZ (“we”). By playing or creating an account you agree to them. Contact: hello@noquartz.app.

The game

NO QUARTZ is a free daily watch quiz. We may change, pause or retire features, questions and scoring at any time. If we ever introduce paid features, they'll come with their own clear terms before you pay anything.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and pick a username that isn't offensive, misleading or someone else's name. We may rename or remove accounts that break these rules. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Fair play

One person, one account. No bots, scripts or automated answering, no exploiting bugs, and no tampering with scores or leaderboards. Looking things up is between you and your conscience — but anything that games the system for everyone else isn't allowed. We may reset scores, streaks or ranks, or suspend accounts, where we see cheating.

Accuracy of questions

We fact-check every question against published sources, but watch history is full of disputed dates and contradictory references, and we will sometimes get things wrong. The content is for entertainment and general interest — not buying, investment or authentication advice. If you spot an error, use the “something's wrong” feedback on the question or email hello@noquartz.app with a source. We may correct or retire a question and adjust scores accordingly.

Watch brands and trademarks

NO QUARTZ is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any watch brand unless a sponsorship is clearly labeled. Brand names, model names and trademarks mentioned belong to their owners and are used only to identify the watches being discussed.

Our content

The questions, insights and design of NO QUARTZ are ours. You're welcome to share your results and quote a question with a link back; please don't copy the question database or republish it in bulk.

Liability

The game is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost streaks or points, or downtime, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (for a free game, that's zero). Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules and without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it. See also our Privacy Policy.
