The story behind it
The Seamaster 300 came out in 1957 as part of Omega's professional trilogy, alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster. The Doxa SUB 300 was the first Doxa with the orange dial, picked because it stays legible underwater. Seiko's 1975 600m used a titanium case, which Seiko says was a first for a diver's watch.
